We need our Wordpress installation to be more optimized. We host on AWS. Need to find out ways to reduce database calls, and increase performance starting from server to code. The database needs to be reviewed to make sure it is optimized properly. We use Maria db and there are many documented ways to do performance optimization there.

Also, check crons to make sure they are not a resource hog, etc. We need not just the help of a dev but of a resource who understands performance optimization at the Linux server level.
