LoveCrafts is looking for someone who can write excellent copy, as well as optimise and zhoosh up existing copy for our sites - LoveKnitting and LoveCrochet. We have 100+ pages that need to be SEO optimised and updated. If you have both the SEO technical expertise to hit the P0 Google spots, and the writing prowess to bring copy to life, then read on!

The knitty gritty.


You will be a:

Rigorous proofreader: making sure our words reach our makers with no typos or grammatical errors
SEO native. Meticulous meta-tagging, keyword optimisation, and knowledge of how to hit that top P0 Google spot
CMS whizz: Aptitude using a CMS platform - we use Prismic, but if you’re skilled at Wordpress or similar you’ll be able to pick it up. You know how to use an Inspect tool, and get a sku code / image from a web page
Adaptable writer: Easily adapt your style to write in our Tone of Voice - think friendly and joyful without cheesy or flowery language
Craft expertise in knitting and/or crochet.


If you know your knit stitch from your purl stitch and your aran weight from your sport weight, we would love to hear from you!
US copywriting experience. Experience writing for multiple regions. You can adjust your spelling for an American audience.


You’ll know your ‘favourite’ vs ‘favorite’, your craft terminology differences - ‘cast on’ vs ‘bind on’ and your ‘cart’ vs ‘basket’.
