Laravel Backend Engineer

We are a fast-paced team building new features, solidifying structure, and iterating the product. And, of course, attention to detail is paramount and we bug test on progress daily/weekly at a minimum.
Laravel (PHP) need to have experience with PostgresSQL (LAMP architecture structure).
Assess the current applications development processes and develop a roadmap for new improvement and changes of the current Agile/Scrum methodology. Recommend innovations, which anticipate the future direction of the business, its drivers and technology strategy
delivery on time and write clean, easily-maintainable code, (company moto: keep code clean!!!  other people are using).

Skills and experience:
Debugging, documentation, and unit testing.
Have a natural knack for user experience and pixel-perfect design. You should know CSS like it’s the back of your hand, and be extremely comfortable building modern responsive web apps.
Being flexible about your day-to-day tasks, you will wear many hats here and will need to revise/research to provide correct long term scalable suggestions.


4+ years of technical experience with Laravel. And strong knowledge of PostgresSql; ability to create relational data models
Degree in Computer Science a PLUS
Experience implementing design systems
Experience with vmware esxi or vm architecture/ management is a +
linux experience (hosting= centos  or redhat) backend is a +

Laravel— Eloquent, facades, authentication, migrations, emailing, crons, etc.

JavaScript & jQuery—Solid understanding of basic JavaScript frameworks (Angular / Ember / Vue / Backbone etc.)
Git—Basics and workflow

RESTful Web services
SOAP Web services
Java Development, RESTEasy, Java ee, jpa, spring framework a plus
php 5.4+: Zend, CMS, custom frameworks • Web Services: XML, SOAP, WSDL, REST, consuming + hosting
Search Engines: Apache Solr, Lucene • HTML/CSS: Smarty, HTML4+5, CSS3+, Blueprint, tableless design
Operating Sys: Windows, Linux (primarily Redhat and CentOS), Android, IOS, Bash script
Version & Quality Control: Perforce, Git, Subversion (Command line and GUI) and Test Director or similar tools
