Juan Cerro, born the 25th of November 1995, rapidly established himself as a compromising artist and producer. With his new single, “Origami” Juan Cerro is launching his career in collaboration with the Ecuadorian singer Micaella Catani, ready to amaze the audience with a new and fresh sound. Juan Cerro was born in Cali Colombia.
When he moved to the city of Basel, Switzerland at the age of five, where he continued his academic studies, he started to develop his abilities as a young musician and artist. At eight years of age, Juan Cerro started to play the saxophone and at age eleven the guitar. It was at that precise moment where he discovered his love for composition and music production.
During his youth, Juan Cerro gathered experience as a saxophonist and guitarist, playing in bars and concert venues. Right at that moment, he also started also with singing his own songs where he discovered his passion for songwriting. His honest lyrics and his Latin American influence in his music created a new and different sound which he still uses in his music today.



Soon after Juan had the opportunity to enroll to Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he managed to establish himself in 2016. Under this new environment and thanks to the help of his amazing professors and fellow students, Juan Cerro managed to mature even more as a musician and to hone the abilities that will prepare him for the music industry. At this moment, Juan Cerro managed to accumulate over 70'000 streams on Spotify, in addition to being featured in numerous Spotify and Apple Music Playlists, blogs and articles, collaborating with artists such as Annie Lux, Mauricio Bernal, Josh Stanley, NINA, and Micaela Cattani amongst others.
