FREELANCE WORK, High Bridge, NJ  7/2016 - Present
Several projects completed for small businesses. The first in WordPress for ease of content updates by client. Custom theme used. A second was also for a small business which consisted of custom changes to an existing theme to match client’s design demands. Taught the Wordpress functionality to clients so they may update content themselves, among other things.

WEB DEVELOPER, iMedia Communications, Boonton, NJ  4/2016 - 7/2016
Worked on a small team implementing a Sitecore 8 version of an ASP.NET MVC application utilized Habitat modular architecture framework, Unicorn for serialization/deserialization and git for source control. Sitecore configuration and development of projects/modules for functionality like news feeds and dashboards. Front-end completed with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (jQuery) including splicing of designs within Photoshop for image extraction and layout calculations.

Served as the Lead Developer/Architect of a Life Sciences-related portal dedicated to training doctors, nurses and reps about industry knowledge, compliance with regulations including the Sunshine Act, and many other aspects that go along with such a system. Collaborated closely with a team of skilled graphic artists who directed the design while all front-end, back-end, and database planning and coding, server administration, deployment, email & SMS services, builds, and deployment (Amazon Web Services) was handled myself.  I sought out this role as it both required and challenged all my skills.

CONTRACTOR, Multiple Locations, 2/2014 - 8/2014
Completed freelance projects that ranged from some open source PHP & MySQL to Microsoft technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL, IIS, ASP.NET & SQL Server) . One example consisted of a .NET based CMS (Kentico) which I learned quickly to implement parts of the NYC Office of Emergency Management’s website. Several months prior were spent immersed in complex data migration of legacy data (from municipalities) into a proprietary CSI system. Consistently picked up on new processes and terminology associated with geographic data, permitting, rules, regulations, parcel/land management, environmental concerns, and more. I gathered all client data from multiple places in various formats (Excel spreadsheets, malformed csv files, access databases, and SQL Server backups) followed up by formulating a process that would map all data to one single format. This process was automated via SQL, bash,  and batch scripts.

Contracted as Senior Developer with responsibility to manage all things technical for an international Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) website. Implemented new administrator area to Umbraco-based AJAX-intensive website. Features included allowing privileged users to manage rental properties (CRUD) and produce reports. ASP.NET CMS Umbraco, jQuery[UI], extensive use of google maps, and social media integration (Facebook apps, Twitter feeds, etc.) were some technical aspects.

Served as an Application Developer for AccuData Integrated Marketing supporting a $2.1MM project. Worked closely with our team of directors, managers, developers, and administrators to develop a multi-layer e-commerce application on a proprietary framework. Coded extensively using Visual Studio .NET 2003 & 2005 in C#, XSLT / XML, SQL, XHTML, JavaScript, and CSS to enable quick searching and delivery of hundreds of millions of data records. Participate in team development environment using Team Foundation Server for source control operations. Daily tasks included bug resolution, application enhancements, server configuration, build management and deployments.

Coded ASP.NET (C#), SQL Server (including Reporting Services), & XML. Member of energy team  that produced savings for PA of $8.1 million in electricity and $5.4 million in natural gas. Saved Commonwealth additional $1.6 million by using green attributes purchasing. Developed systems to promote efficient energy procurement. Produced annual utility usage reports to Commonwealth agencies. 

CONSULTANT, WinMill Software, State College, PA 4/2000 to 1/2003
Served as an IT Consultant for WinMill Software, managed development projects totaling $1/2 million annually, brought projects in on-time and under budget, promoted as well as received multiple raises based on high performance levels and ability to deliver projects.
