Sobre mí
I am a 29-year-old English teacher from Central America. I graduated, with an outstanding GPA, from the Foreign Languages Department, of the University of El Salvador in June 2009. After getting an English teaching degree, I pursued a one-year specialization in teaching methodologies for English language learning too. In 2015, I was selected, by The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT), among 500 English teachers, to be the recipient of the Monbukagakusho Scholarship (文部科学省奨学金) and carry out research studies in Japan. I have been doing research in the field of Communicative Language Teaching (CLT method) in Japan for about a year now.  I have been in the teaching field since 2009, having experienced teaching little kids from kinder garden, pre-School, elementary, junior high and high school levels, as well as some language academies where people ages ranged from 20-60 years old.
I have always been passionate about helping others and I am proud to say that I have been doing it for about six years. I have done it from the many classrooms where I have had the opportunity to be in, giving people the necessary tools to develop their English & Spanish communicative skills and get better job opportunities. My studies recent studies in EFL, TESOL specialization from Arizona State University and ELE certification (Spanish as as a foreign language) provided me with a deeper understanding of how interesting, complex and worthy of study the process of communication can be. I considered myself a very sociable and talkative person; I’m always looking for innovation in everything I do, always thinking of a better way to do things.  I am keen on technology use and I like to include it somehow in my lessons. Besides, due to the nature of my profession, I tend to be quite people-oriented and enjoy group’s management to achieve common goals. I always show a proactive attitude towards work and study.

I have been working on freelance translation and interpretation since 2010
