A Copy Producer / Copywriter work with client briefs to conceive, develop and produce effective advertising campaigns. They provides the verbal or written 'copy' of an advertising campaing. This may include creating slogans, catchphrases, messages and straplines for printed adverts and leaflets. They are also involved in writing text for web advertising, as well as scripts for radio jingles and TV commercials.
Typical work activities may include:
-Developing creative ideas and concepts, often in partnership with the art director;
presenting ideas to colleagues and clients
-Writing clear, persuasive, original copy
-Updating digital media;
-Proofreading copy to check spelling and grammar;
-Amending, revising or redeveloping adverts or campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director, account team or clients;
-Overseeing campaigns through the production stage to completion
-Working on several campaigns at once, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines
**Technical Director @VIVOplay (Broadcast Media) 2014-2015**
The Technical Director is usually responsible for the technical quality of the signal being recorded or broadcast. Works in a production control room of a television studio and operates the video switcher and associated devices as well as serving as the chief of the television crew.
It is the TD's job to ensure all positions are manned and all equipment and facilities are checked out and ready before the recording session or live broadcast begins. They will switch video sources, perform live digital effects and transitions, and insert pre-recorded material, graphics and titles.
