In charge of the Global Guest Programme. Conducted welcome and departure briefing for Spanish speaking guests. Translated and proofread onboard material to be distributed to the Spanish speaking guests. Translated information related to drills, safety issues and services onboard. I worked closely with other departments rendering oral translation services. I coordinated events for frequent cruisers, the mariners ‘Reception and brunch. Assisted the Cruise Director: prepared draft invitations for the Hotel Director’s approval, created invitations (between 800 and 1200), Updated RSVP list, supervised lounge arrangements and hosted the Mariners’ Ceremony and brunch. Post event clerical support: prepared reports to the Financial Department.
I had phone duties, assisted suite guests, prepared documents, letters and notices for Hotel Director’s approval and signature. Cashier duties, complaint resolution and follow up, lost & found inventory, assisted guests with lost luggage concerns, dealt with airlines. Promoted services onboard and sold tours.
