• In this temporary position I sold English courses overseas and higher education; I did telemarketing offering English courses and advice; I helped customers with visa applications and requirements; I had to keep up to date with currency and economics news around the world.

• In this position I had to research account history files and update customer information, solve customer complaints and delegate duties to various team members and updating customer information on the database. I used to use professional communication and problem solving skills with clients and also carry out general administration tasks such as keeping records, sending/receiving letters to/from customers as well as dealing with internal correspondence.
Customer Service Advisor (2009-2014)
• This role included selling financial products and services to customers; using a computerised system to update account details; reporting unresolved calls to a supervisor for follow-up; helping customers with loan and mortgage applications. This was a busy environment where I had to work under pressure and efficiently. Being friendly and showing good leadership skills here were important factors in moving up the career ladder.
• I started as cashier processing cheques, cash and direct debit payments and withdrawals; checking statements; making money transfers. I used to promote financial products which helped me to get promoted.
