I am a persistent 3D modeler in love with self-improvement. Embracing 3D Art was the answer to my professional life and the target on which I could focus all of my energy.
3D Modeling was a big dream of mine since I finished high school and I jumped right into it as soon as I could. Before going to college I started learning to model digital maquettes in a 3D studio in São Paulo. Ever since, I knew I had found a road I could tread with great passion. The only problem is I wanted to create characters... Interactive characters that would gain life because of me. So, clearly, games were the answer.
For that to happen, I went to study Game Design at the Anhembi Morumbi University... Unfortunately, the course was not at all what I expected, neither teaching good bases of 3D modeling nor game design. So I quit studying there and, in early 2013, started studying 3D sculpture at Melies School, a great place for people to get a good grasp on and develop their skills on 3D modeling, 2D painting and concepting, sculpture and animation.
It was no longer than 6 months when I finished the course and had a great basic understanding of the industry's way of 3D creation. That's when I started studying how to create game assets by myself... With online courses, help of members from the industry, tutorials and a lot of patience, perseverance and energy, I became a 3D character artist and am eager to see what's in store for me in the future.
I will never stop studying and improving myself, nor will I ever turn down a challenge... That's who I am and that part of me won't change.
