2010 - Present:
Independent Software Engineering Professional. Working since 2010 as an independent contractor on applications development for mobile, web, and physical interactive installations. During this period I have had the opportunity to create software for mobile games, bike-sharing systems, crowdfunding platforms, art installations, comic books fairs, construction site workflow management, and to create a couple of art installations of my own which were displayed in São Paulo, Brazil and Barcelona, Spain in 2013 and 2014.
Game Developer at Best, Cool and Fun Games. Integrating the games development team, I contributed to the creation of several successful mobile games for Android and iOS with over 1 million installs. Main development tools were Android Native Programming + AndEngine and Unity3D.
Ruby on Rails Developer at Coffee Bean Technology. As part of this startup's development team, main tasks included Ruby on Rails development of backend services and improvements, and a RESTful API design and development for a social CRM platform.
2009 - 2010:
Java2EE Developer at Touch Tecnologia. Integrated the development team for a distributed, multi-threaded system for data collection, sanitization and migration from several remote databases, capable of handling tens of millions of records.
2006 - 2007:
Project Coordinator Intern at Mercado Eletrônico S/A. In this role I was responsible for the coordination and management of procurement workflow integration projects, working closely with clients to redesign and integrate new purchasing workflows that would best leverage the capabilities of the company's custom E-procurement solution. Common tasks included: project management following PMBOK guidelines, requirements assessment, specification of custom data integration interfaces, on-site setup of integration software, training users into new workflow, support issues assessment.
VBA Developer Intern at Santander Banespa S/A. Development of a VB data input application for collecting millions of records from both manual input as well as external data sources.
