Part Time Purchaser

We are looking for a purchaser to work 16-24 hours a week for 10 weeks. We offer USD compensation by the hour.

Key attributes for the purchaser would be:
-Experience managing component inventory for large assemblies
-Forecast with lead time tracking/strategic planning, purchasing execution with purchase orders, working with accounting, supplier follow up, status tracking, updating inventory spreadsheets (we don't use any sophisticated ERP systems).
-Work with off the shelf electronic components and standard industry suppliers (Arrow, Digikey, etc)
-Ability to be resourceful in finding alternate suppliers
-Coordinating shipment of parts to other suppliers through final assembly
-Experience with printed circuit board fabrication and assembly suppliers
-Experience with custom injection molded component suppliers
-Understand part number and references (nice to have is experience with medical or aerospace devices)
