Ruby on Rails Insurance Management Webapp

I'm looking for a Ruby on Rails developer for to work an a webapp project.

I'm a Ruby on Rails expert too so I can guide and help the developer if needed.

The webapp project is a management solution for a small company of insurance resellers.

Currently they track every policy sold to their customers on a spreadsheet but they want a more custom solution in order to get more data and optimize the workflow.

Here are the whole process:

The seller sells fills a policy request for a specific contact from a customer.
If the contact is not in the customer database they create the contact.
If it's a new customer they create the customer

An offline process is being done there that they contact an insurance provider in order to get the policy number.

Then seller create the policy associated to the policy request with the policy number and with the provider. She fills the prime price and the currency. A file can be attached (pdf or doc) for the policy document.


The policy can have additional movements like requote, update or cancelation this all historical movements must be persisted, as they also recalculate the final price.

The policy can be marked as payed or pending to be payed.

The policy has a due date, and with this due date some triggers should happen. An email should be sent to the seller when the due date is in some X days and it hasn't been payed.

The seller should be able to see a list of all the customers, contacts, policies, policie movements, providers, other sellers.

The seller should be able to login with email and password.

Everything will be stored in my github account (I can add the developer as collaborator). And I can setup a Digital Ocean VPS for the project and deploy the project.

For email triggers we can use Mailgun or some other mail provider.
The html and css views should be done with bootstrap.

The project tasks can be managed on a Trello board or Github Issues. We can discuss together estimations and the task to be done.
