Project Description

I am looking for an experienced AutoCAD drafter to assist with commercial glass and metal shop drawing projects on a remote, per-project basis.

My company prepares shop drawings for subcontractors working on commercial projects, primarily in the New York City market.

Work may include shop drawings for glass doors, storefronts, mirrors, glass partitions, metal frames, railings, and related architectural glass/metal scopes.

Typical tasks may include plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, title sheets, and revisions based on architect/GC/client comments.

Required Skills

Strong AutoCAD experience
Ability to read architectural/construction drawings
Fluent English communication
Familiar with imperial units: inches, feet, fractions, scales
Detail-oriented and able to follow drafting standards/templates
Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Experience

Glass and metal shop drawings
Commercial interior fit-out projects
U.S. Or NYC construction projects
Bluebeam or PDF markup experience

Work Arrangement

Remote freelance work
Per-project compensation

Colombia-based applicants preferred, but not required.
