Candela Marquez - *Short-Form Video Editor for Food, Nutrition, Lifestyle Content — Mexico/Latam Preferred*

Seeking a talented video editor to create engaging short-form content for Instagram Reels and TikTok.

We are a Mexican-American food and nutrition brand creating recipe videos, educational talk-to-camera content and culturally meaningful food stories. Familiarity with Mexican food, culture, language and humor is highly preferred so our content continues to feel authentic to our community.

We anticipate needing approximately **2–4 videos per week** on an ongoing basis.

**Responsibilities:**

* Turn raw footage into polished, engaging short-form videos
* Select the strongest clips and create natural, attention-holding pacing
* Add text overlays, captions, music and effects when appropriate
* Follow our established editing style and brand guidelines
* Export videos in vertical 9:16 format for Instagram and TikTok
* Incorporate feedback and complete one reasonable revision when needed

We prefer a clean, warm and authentic editing style. No excessive effects or generic, overly flashy templates.

Ideal candidate
* Has experience editing Reels, TikToks or other short-form content
* Has a strong understanding of hooks, pacing and current social media trends
* Has excellent attention to spelling and on-screen text
* Is reliable, responsive and able to meet deadlines
* Speaks Spanish; comfort working with English-language content is also preferred
* Has experience with food, recipe, wellness or lifestyle content
* Is located in Mexico or another Latin American country

Editing may be completed using **CapCut, InShot, Premiere Pro or another comparable program**. Advanced software is not required as long as the final videos meet our quality standards.
We will provide raw footage, creative direction, brand examples and scripts or voiceovers when applicable. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a **paid trial edit** before beginning ongoing work.
