Comprehensive Interior Design Vision for a 76m² Rental Apartment Renovation

We are seeking an experienced interior designer to develop a comprehensive design vision for a 76 m² rental apartment located in Barcelona, Spain. This project is a thoughtful mid-range renovation, which the client will gradually implement over several months. The goal is to create a cohesive and intentional aesthetic for the entire apartment, rather than a room-by-room approach. The apartment layout includes: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area (single ambience), a balcony, a small laundry room, and a tiny entrance hall. The selected freelancer will be responsible for providing the following deliverables: Detailed mood boards to establish the overall aesthetic and feel. Furniture layout suggestions presented on a floor plan. Comprehensive shopping lists, including specific product references from mid-range brands readily available in Spain (e.g., IKEA, Kave Home, Sklum, Zara Home, Maisons du Monde, La Redoute). A complete style guide outlining recommended colours, materials, and textures. The design must accommodate the client's lifestyle, which includes working from home, living with a large dog, a love for plants, and frequent hosting of friends. The client will personally manage all purchasing, assembly, painting, and modifications, requiring only the creative direction and a coherent design plan to ensure an intentional and harmonious result. The budget for purchases is mid-range, and items will be acquired month by month.
