Project overview
The freelancer will receive the internal model of the equipment (physical structure, dimensions, and required openings) and will be responsible for designing the external enclosure, following specific technical and aesthetic guidelines. Technical and design requirements: • Structure preferably made from foldable sheet metal or other high-end materials that ensure a premium finish but allow for quick and simple manufacturing • Minimalistic, clean design • Company logo with LED backlighting • Option to include additional LED backlighting details on the body of the equipment • Space reserved for an LCD or LED screen (control panel) • Side opening with easy access, ideally using magnetic closure (magnets) • Transparent window or acrylic detail, allowing the user to see the coffee beans falling and passing through the sensor • Design of output trays where the coffee beans fall after analysis, with front-facing acrylic visibility • Opening for a capacitive touch button (on/off function) • Opening for the microcontroller board’s USB connector Deliverables: • Complete 3D model of the enclosure • Design of the output trays • Bill of materials (BOM) • High-level assembly instructions (for quick prototyping) We prioritize: • Simplicity in design • Fast delivery • Functionality and manufacturability over excessive detailing or overly complex design
