I am seeking a qualified legal professional to conduct a preliminary intellectual property infringement search for two children's illustrations. These illustrations are intended for commercial use on products such as storage boxes and children's room organizers in the United States.
The primary objective of this project is to assess the risk of infringement before proceeding with manufacturing. I am not currently seeking services for trademark or patent registration, but rather a focused legal analysis.
Specific tasks include:
- Conducting a thorough search for any substantially similar U.S. Design Patents that might apply to the illustrations.
- Investigating existing copyrighted artwork that bears substantial similarity to the provided illustrations.
- Providing an expert opinion on whether the artwork appears safe for commercial use in the U.S.
- Identifying any specific elements within the illustrations that should be modified to mitigate the risk of future copyright or other intellectual property claims.
