Experienced Graphic Designer/Illustrator for Board Game Visual Redesign

We are seeking a talented graphic designer or illustrator to undertake a comprehensive visual redesign of an existing board game project. This role is exclusively focused on visual design; all game rules, mechanics, structure, and written content are already established and will be provided. No gameplay design, rule creation, or balancing is required.

The core task involves redesigning the game board, the front and back of all game cards, tokens, pawns, and other visual components. The objective is to establish a cohesive and professional visual identity across the entire game, resulting in a clean, modern, and production-ready aesthetic suitable for commercial release.

The ideal designer will demonstrate strong capabilities in creating clear and readable layouts, managing visual hierarchy effectively, and expertly handling typography and iconography to ensure consistency across all assets. A keen understanding of print constraints, including margins, readability, and clarity, is essential to deliver high-quality, manufacturable designs. The final visuals should significantly enhance the player experience without altering the underlying gameplay.

This is strictly a visual execution project based on an existing structure. It does not involve work on game mechanics, rules, storytelling, or player experience logic.

We are looking for a professional with proven experience in graphic design, illustration, or specifically in board game visuals. Prior experience with card games or tabletop projects will be a significant advantage. The designer must be comfortable working remotely, adhering to clear briefs, and iterating on designs based on feedback. An ability to work with a faith-inspired theme is required, though no personal beliefs will be requested or discussed.

The desired visual style is modern, clean, and easily understandable, with a unified artistic direction across all game elements. More detailed artistic direction and specific visual references will be provided during the collaboration phase. The collaboration will involve defined deliverables, clear communication, and agreed-upon timelines.
