First-Person Pov Video Collection for Ai & Robotics Training - Household Tasks

Published on the May 30, 2026 in IT & Programming

About this project

Open

We are seeking detail-oriented operators to participate in a first-person (POV) video collection project. The footage collected will be instrumental in training advanced AI and robotics models to understand and replicate everyday household tasks.

Project Overview:
Operators will record themselves performing common household chores from a point-of-view perspective. Examples of tasks include loading/unloading dishwashers, organizing tables, folding laundry, and tidying rooms. This project offers an opportunity to contribute valuable data to cutting-edge AI development.

Geographic Requirements:
Candidates must be located in one of the following countries: United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, or Argentina.

Device and Hardware Requirements:
To be eligible for this project, you must own a smartphone head-mount strap and one of the following approved mobile devices:
* Apple iPhone: iPhone 11 series through iPhone 17 series (Note: iPhone 16e and 17e are not accepted).
* Google Pixel: Pixel 6, 7, 8, or 9 (including Pro models).
* Samsung Galaxy: S21, S22, S23, or S24 series (Plus and Ultra accepted).

Quality Control (QC) Guidelines and Responsibilities:
Our quality control process is highly rigorous to ensure the integrity of the data. You must strictly adhere to the following rules for your videos to be approved for payment:
1. Continuous POV Recording: Videos must be recorded using a specific proprietary application via a head-mount. Each video clip must have a duration between 2 and 30 minutes.
2. Hand Visibility: It is crucial that both hands are clearly visible within the frame whenever you are interacting with objects (grabbing, moving, or releasing).
3. Camera Angle and Stability: The camera should be angled slightly downward to effectively capture the action. All movements must be smooth and steady, avoiding any sudden or jerky head motions.
4. Natural Physical Activity: All recordings must be performed while standing and moving naturally. Recordings made while seated will be strictly rejected.
5. Technical Readiness: Your mobile phone's battery level must remain above 30% throughout the recording session, and the auto-rotate feature must be enabled.

Compensation:
Payment will be a flat rate of $5.00 USD per approved hour of footage. Each eligible household can submit up to 100 hours of approved footage.

We invite qualified individuals who meet the specified location, smartphone model, and hardware requirements to submit their proposals.
