Freelance Video Editor for German Youtube News Content (Capcut) - Long-Term

We are a small German team managing several YouTube channels focused on news
content derived from German parliament speeches. We are seeking dedicated
freelance video editors for ongoing, long-term collaboration. This is a
project-based role, paid per assignment, not a salary.

The primary responsibilities for each assignment include:
- Cutting and editing German parliament speeches into concise, finished news
  videos using CapCut.
- Integrating intro and outro voiceovers using our provided, free AI tool.
- Adding relevant images (prompts provided by us), banner texts, and subtitles
  to enhance video content.
- Uploading the final video files to our Google Drive folder.

Assignment lengths vary, from short clips to videos of 20 minutes or more. You
will be able to review the length before accepting an assignment. A single
speech may result in 2-4 videos for different channels; subsequent videos from
the same speech are typically quicker to produce.

German language proficiency at an A1-B1 level is required. Your task will
involve matching the spoken German to the provided German script to accurately
identify sentence start and end points. While time markers are given as a guide,
precise listening is crucial. Please note, translation or German writing is NOT
required.

We provide our freelancers with:
- A personal login to our work platform for managing assignments and accessing
  full scripts.
- A free, built-in AI voice tool for generating German voiceovers.
- Comprehensive training videos and a certificate upon successful completion.
- Direct chat support with our admin team.

Payment is between 4-10 eur (approximately 5-11 usd) per assignment, depending
on the speech length and the number of videos produced. The maximum payment per
assignment is 10 EUR. Payments are processed through Workana. There is no limit
to the number of assignments you can undertake.

Required skills and equipment:
- German language proficiency (A1-B1) for accurate listening and script
  matching.
- Strong CapCut video editing skills and a meticulous approach to work.
- A reliable computer suitable for video editing and a stable internet
  connection.
- Proficiency in English for understanding instructions and communicating with
  the team.
- Commitment to completing accepted tasks.

To apply, please send a brief message expressing your interest. No work samples
are required at this stage. We will provide a login and a short trial task with
a set time limit. Your performance on the trial task will determine your
acceptance into our team.

Please note: the trial task is unpaid. It is short, and we give you an example
video so you know exactly what we want. Paid assignments start as soon as you
are accepted.
