We are SomPaulista, a musical instrument business based in São Paulo, Brazil, seeking a highly skilled full-stack developer to enhance our existing internal web system. This project focuses on strategic improvements to critical functionalities rather than a complete rebuild.
The primary challenge lies within our inventory management system. Currently, inventory updates are not consistently accurate when an instrument is sold, reserved, or allocated for an order. This inconsistency necessitates manual verification by our team, leading to significant inefficiencies and potential errors in our operations.
Additionally, our system experiences performance issues with its search functions. These problems are particularly noticeable when multiple filters, such as brand, category, price, and availability, are applied. This often results in rework for our team and carries the risk of confirming items that are no longer in stock.
We are looking for a developer who can thoroughly understand our current system architecture and implement targeted fixes and optimizations to resolve these issues. Experience with payment gateway integrations like Mercado Pago,
Pagar.me, or similar platforms is highly valued, as our company relies heavily on PIX payments. Given that the system handles customer data, a strong focus on LGPD compliance, robust access permissions, and overall security is paramount.
My role will be to manage requirements and facilitate clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. We expect the chosen freelancer to propose solutions that address the core issues efficiently and effectively.
As part of your proposal, please describe your approach to preventing two different users from simultaneously reserving the last available unit of an instrument.
