Packaging Structural Design Specialist for Production-Ready Dielines Workflow

We are seeking a highly skilled packaging structural design specialist to develop and implement a repeatable workflow for converting various visual concepts into production-ready dielines for manufacturing. Our company specializes in custom food packaging, including catering boxes, sushi boxes, bakery boxes, pizza boxes, hot dog boxes, delivery packaging, and heat-sealable paper trays.

The primary objective of this project is to establish a robust process for generating accurate, factory-ready dielines from virtual packaging mockups, renders, reference photos, or sketches. The final deliverables must be suitable for real manufacturing processes, not solely for visual presentations.

The ideal professional will possess extensive experience in packaging structure, dielines, folding cartons, corrugated packaging, die-cut layouts, bleed, crease lines, cut lines, glue areas, lock tabs, material thickness, and production constraints. A deep understanding of packaging engineering is crucial to verify that a proposed structure is viable for actual production.

Key deliverables for this project include:

*  Production-ready dielines provided in industry-standard formats such as ai, pdf, svg, dxf, or cad.
*  Clear and precise separation of layers for cut lines, crease lines, perforation lines, glue areas, bleed, and safe areas within the dieline files.
*  Comprehensive structural validation of the package design to ensure integrity and functionality.
*  Detailed documentation of assembly logic and folding sequence.
*  Expert recommendations regarding appropriate materials, flute types, board thickness, and overall production feasibility.
*  Review and correction of dielines that may be initially generated through AI-assisted design workflows.

This role is distinct from a regular graphic design position; we require an expert who can ensure the structural integrity and manufacturability of packaging designs. The successful candidate will help us build a reliable internal process to transform AI-generated mockups or conceptual designs into precise, production-ready dielines, thoroughly reviewed, corrected, and prepared for mass production.
