We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to assist with academic and comparative constitutional law research. This is a remote, part-time position with flexible hours, offering an immediate start.
Areas of Research:
Constitutional law.
Parliamentary systems and parliamentary suspension.
Dissolution and suspension of legislatures.
Separation of powers.
Constitutional crises.
Comparative constitutional law.
Middle East and Arab constitutional systems.
Comparative case studies from Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal and academic research.
Review constitutions, legislation, court decisions, and parliamentary practices.
Prepare case studies and literature reviews.
Summarize scholarly articles and books.
Assist in drafting research papers and book chapters.
Prepare references using OSCOLA or Bluebook citation styles.
Preferred Qualifications:
LL.M. Or Ph.D. Candidate in Law, Political Science, or Constitutional Studies.
Excellent English writing skills (Arabic is an advantage).
Experience with Westlaw, LexisNexis, Heinonline, jstor, ssrn, and google scholar.
Familiarity with comparative constitutional law and parliamentary systems.

France (1958 Constitution).
