Production & Logistics Assistant for Textile Industry in Colombia

We are seeking a dedicated Production & Logistics Assistant to support our textile operations. The primary objective of this role is to assist with textile production management, quality control, inventory management, and the coordination of international logistics for imports and exports. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with production deadlines and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate effectively with garment factories and workshops to guarantee on-time delivery of products.
- Supervise various production processes and conduct thorough quality control checks to maintain high standards.
- Manage inventory across raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Utilize cloud-based inventory software (e.g., Katana, Zoho, or advanced Excel functionalities) for efficient tracking.
- Oversee the reception and processing of imported raw materials, such as wool from Peru.
- Provide essential assistance with logistics and documentation required for the export of finished products to the U.S.
- Prepare comprehensive weekly reports detailing inventory levels, production progress, and quality metrics.

Requirements:
- A degree or technical training in Fashion Design, Industrial Engineering, International Business, or a closely related field is essential.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience in garment factories, quality control, or textile logistics.
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills and practical experience in inventory management.
- Basic knowledge of international trade and logistics principles is highly desirable.
