About this project
engineering-manufacturing / industrial-design-1
Open
We are developing an industrial vibration sensor for predictive maintenance and are looking for an embedded hardware / pcb designer to help create the first prototype pcb for this project.
project overview:
design a compact industrial vibration sensor pcb using:
* iis3dwb high-bandwidth 3-axis mems accelerometer (spi)
* esp32-wroom-32 mcu
* rs485 industrial communication transceiver
* industrial power input and regulation
* reserved expansion for future lora module
pcb requirements:
* approx. 50mm x 50mm
* Prefer 4-layer stackup (2-layer acceptable if justified)
* Careful layout around vibration sensor / sensitive signals
* Consideration for mechanical rigidity and mounting
* Proper grounding / decoupling / return path practices
who should apply:
we are looking for someone comfortable with pcb and embedded hardware design, preferably with experience in some of the following areas:
* sensor / mems / analog or mixed-signal layouts
* industrial communication / rs485
* esp32 / stm32 hardware design
* altium / kicad / similar eda tools
project notes:
* this is an early-stage prototype, not a final production design.
* We are looking for a practical and functional first version that provides a solid engineering baseline.
* The design will likely evolve through future revisions and refinements.
* We value engineering judgment, communication, and collaborative iteration.
DELIVERABLES:
Flexible / to be discussed based on experience and proposed scope.
timeline & budget:
flexible — we are open to discussing scope, pricing, and timeline based on candidate experience.
We are looking for a long-term engineering partner as this project evolves.
