Technical Validation of Refrigerator Door Monitoring Api and Data Reliability

We are seeking an experienced developer to conduct a technical validation of an existing refrigerator door-monitoring setup. The current system utilizes magnetic door sensors that transmit open/close events to a local gateway via Wi-Fi. The gateway provides access to this data through an API.

This initial phase focuses solely on validating the gateway API's capability to reliably provide the necessary data for a future monitoring system. No dashboard, frontend, or additional web development is required at this stage.

The scope of work includes:
- Reviewing the available API documentation.
- Connecting to the gateway and verifying authentication mechanisms and available endpoints.
- Retrieving sample refrigerator door events.
- Examining the structure and timestamps of the retrieved events.
- Determining if the data is sufficient and reliable for calculating door-opening durations and total opening counts.

The successful freelancer will provide a clear, comprehensive technical summary of their findings. This summary should detail any limitations discovered, integration requirements, and any issues encountered during the validation process. This is a critical feasibility project, and a larger development initiative may follow based on its outcomes.
