Video Editor for Youtube Educational Series for Law Students

I am an educator and speaker launching a YouTube video series designed to help law students succeed both academically and emotionally. The content has already been recorded on Zoom, with Canva slide presentations used as visual support.

The editor will not need to create any content from scratch — just refine what’s already there by trimming, adding subtitles, transitions, and inserting a provided intro/outro. This is light editing: no motion graphics, no complex animation, and no script development.

I’m seeking a skilled video editor to prepare these recordings for publication on YouTube. The goal is to create clean, professional videos that are engaging and easy to follow, while preserving a natural, smart, and clear tone (not overproduced).

Each video will be approximately 5 to 15 minutes in length.

🔧 Key requirements include:
- Adding accurate and readable English subtitles
- Trimming unnecessary pauses, filler words, or awkward moments
- Incorporating smooth transitions between sections
- Adding simple text overlays or callouts as needed
- Performing light audio cleanup to improve clarity
- Inserting PDF download text or other CTAs, when/if provided
- Integrating a provided intro/outro sequence

This initial project is a trial phase covering 3 to 5 videos. If we’re a good fit, I’d love to continue with a long-term collaboration.

- Have experience editing educational or course-style videos
- Be comfortable working with English-language voiceover
- Share 2–3 examples of similar past work in their proposal
