Youtube Video

We’re looking for a skilled video editor to join The Driverless Journal, a YouTube channel focused on Tesla’s Full Self-Driving technology and other autonomous driving innovations. This is a long-term, weekly opportunity.

Responsibilities:
    •    Edit 1 video per week for YouTube (8–15 minutes)
    •    Follow provided instructions, including script timing and footage selection
    •    Add AI-generated voiceovers (provided)
    •    Incorporate graphics, text overlays, and background music as needed
    •    Create engaging visuals to keep viewers interested, especially during slower driving footage

Requirements:
    •    Experience editing YouTube-style content
    •    Familiarity with automotive or tech-related content is a plus
    •    Ability to work with minimal direction while staying on brand
    •    Reliable turnaround (typically 3–4 days per video)

Bonus:
    •    Understanding of YouTube best practices (retention, pacing, visual storytelling)
    •    Basic thumbnail creation skills
