a) Design and implementation of a disaster recovery plan (using Oracle technology) which included two main components: a Backup strategy and a Data Guard's configuration. We designed the backup strategy from the recovery capacity point of view, instead of just a backup task by itself; the Data Guard played the role of a near real-time offsite backup.
b) The Data Guard's configuration was also part of the High Availability Plan, so we could switch over to the standby site in case of the main site failure. Fortunately, we never need it.
c) Implementation of a tool for administration, monitoring, and diagnosis (using Oracle Technology) to support an Oracle database's farm in an effective and proactive way. Incidents recognition and troubleshooting timeframe decreased about 50% and continued to decrease as the team increases their skills and knowledge.

a) Design and implementation of a database high availability architecture for an Oracle database farm, which supports an Oracle Application Server farm.
b) Planning and executing a site move overnight of an Oracle database's farm, with no incident. Our recovery plan was a Data Guard configuration updated to the last second. Just in case.
c) Disaster recovery, using an Oracle Data Guard configuration, from a complete Storage failure. Zero data loss.

a) Oracle database server full migration to the new storage (Fujitsu to Dell storage) for the Billing system in under 10 minutes of downtime;
b) Full CRM database site migration from Brasilia to São Paulo data center.
