Mechanical Engineer (Machine Design Sections-Permanent Position)
• Designed mechanical components for dredges, cranes, small ships, gate locks, tow locomotives and offshore equipment.
• Led specific projects that included design, specification and purchase of dredges and marine parts using modeling software (Inventor 2013 and ANSYS analysis) following welding, casting geometric dimensioning and tolerance standards.
• Developed drawings, specifications and naval simulations to acquire contracts valued over $1,000,000 for Panama Canal maintenance and expansion. Using International Marine Standards (Oil Companies International Marine Forum, Cordage institute, Coast Guard Specifications, ABS and DNV).
• Performed problem solving functions and identified effective solutions in compliance with ASME, ISO, ASTM, DIN, JIS standards.
