My IT background is quite broad; having participated and coordinated the development, evolution and integration of systems of various sizes and markets. I have plenty of experience on B2B, e-Procurement, DMS, CRM and ERPs. My strongest skills are on web applications, but I already worked with client/server architectures, desktop software and mobile.
The main platforms I have experience are Ruby, Node.js, .NET and Java. I also emphasize jQuery, HTML5 and CSS.
Ruby and Node.js are the platforms I’ve been actively developing in the last year. Most of the projects are using a Cloud Computing environment (Amazon EC2), and some are using NoSQL databases (MongoDB and Redis).
The .NET plarform makes up most of my past experience. I use it since the first betas, up to the 4.0 version, having also worked a bit with Mono (.NET for Linux).
My Java experience is more focused on the agile frameworks, like Mentawai, JRuby, TorqueBox, Hibernate and Velocity – I don’t tend to work with EJBs, JSF and related.
In general, I try to stay open to any tool, language or methodology: I believe each problem has the right tool for it.
