In charge of Costa Rica Payroll process in a monthly basis. Data analysis and submission thru flexi forms (new hires, data change, earnings and allowances, time off, terminations) to a third party (ADP). Analysis of payroll results between third party and VMWare, journal entries, open items from G/L team resolution, generation of post payroll reports, terminations calculation according Costa Rica’s legislation, cases and queries resolution from employees thru Talisma tool.
Manual checks process for US regular and intern terminated employees, termination calculation based on the data from ADP and workday system.
IBM / NA Payroll Practitioner (2013-2017)
Experience with US and Canada Payroll in the Procter & Gamble account for Monthly, Biweekly and expats regular runs, off cycles,special runs, accounting posting and complex cases, journal entries, open items resolution with internal G/L team (BSR) with cases in JIRA tool as well as cases with P&G accounting team (Treasury), system configurations/changes in SAP thru tickets with IT department in service manager platform. Process improvements and projects that caused a saving to the company and the client, thru data & timing analysis, worked with IT and projects team to develop new solutions and automation for manual processes in SAP such as: back-end payroll process for Canada payroll run, automatic accounting posting for Canada.
Canada and US overpayments processes such as: overpayments breakdown calculation, overpayments letters (notifications) creation, overpayments G/L accounts open balances, overpayments cases, reports and data analysis in order to reduce the amount of overpayments detected in every payroll run.
Canada and US replacements processes, wires transfers, checks generation, banking, payroll and treasury accounting, open items analysis,research and resolution, process improvements to avoid delays in the daily operations, replacements cases resolution.
