About this project

Open

We need this Case - Scenario to be answered as a simple word document as soon as possible.

● Objective: Assess a complex immigration situation and explain how you would
manage it.

● Case Description:

o We have a new strategic client that wants us, as a employer of record (EOR) company, to onboard a foreigner in Mexico.

O According to the client, the employee already has a permit that allows employment in Mexico.

O You have to check if the information provided by the client is correct and confirm to our payroll team if employee can indeed be hired or not.

O How would you handle this case? What information/document would you request from the client and employee? What would you consider to determine employment rights in the country? What would be the possible scenarios? If onboard can take place, additional steps would be required? If onboarding cannot take place, what would be the suggestion? How would you communicate with your manager, client and employee on this matter?

● Expected outcome: Word document with your comments.

Use the following questions to guide you:

○ How would you assess risk in the above scenario? What risk should the employee, client and us as an employer of record be thinking about?

○ What strategy would you follow to solve this case and deliver a positive outcome? How would you present it?

○ What questions would you have and for what audience?

○ Write out communication to share your recommendation/deliver the news with the client (draft an email).

○ How can the company avoid this kind of situation from happening in the future?
