Corrigir erro: Allowed memory size

Estou com o seguinte erro em um site hospedado na Godaddy.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32 bytes) in /home/leandropef/public_html/farmaciadopet/wp-content/plugins/Ultimate_VC_Addons/modules/Ultimate_List_Icon.php on line 143

Já tentei aumentar o limite de memória no arquivo php.ini mas não funcionou...E o suporte deles simplesmente ignorou minha dificuldade para resolver esse problema.

Tenho um outro site que eu acredito que o problema seja parecido.
Mas a mensagem de erro (ver abaixo), só aparece quando eu tento acessar o painel adm do WordPress.

Sem permissões suficientes para acessar esta página.

Preciso resolver esses 2 casos com urgência e preciso entender também o que foi feito para soluciona-los.
