Google Business Profile (Gbp / Gmb) Optimization / Local Seo Campaign & Organic Seo Campaign

I have an Accounting / Certified Public Accountant (CPA) firm client in a large metropolitan area that needs to have their Google Business Profile (GBP) rank even better in the map pack / Local SEO results.

Plus, a second goal is to rank the website better in organic search results. There is already in-depth research done, e.g. On competitors, keywords, content, etc... - Which can be provided to the right candidate.

To be on the same page:
- Local SEO is to rank in Google Maps results
- Organic SEO is to rank in organic search results

The GBP has already been 90%+ optimized (e.g. Added services & descriptions, optimized categories, etc...), But there is definitely still some room for improvement. The client has dozens of Google reviews already - generally, they have more reviews than most of their competitors.

The client already asks/collects reviews from customers, and they respond to reviews.

Weekly+ posts to the GBP are not needed, we have plenty of content for that and will start posting it soon. :)

There are a couple hundred citations that were recently created, so you might need to clean up some of them to match the GBP information.

We would start with an initial paid hourly project to see the quality of work, this would include:

- A link-building campaign of local/geo-specific links - maybe a couple links, to see the quality of the local link building (no local citations are needed, I have a good contractor to do those already - and we just had ~175 of them done)
- Suggestions for some quick wins to improve on-page seo of the website, and suggestions to improve the gbp (not an in-depth audit). You would make suggestions, but you would not have access to the website or the GBP to make the changes

Then after successful completion of that initial paid hourly project, we would continue to a month long project of seo work, with a focus to improve rankings of the gbp (local seo), and build the foundation for organic seo for the website.

Assuming good improvements and we work well together, this could turn into an ongoing monthly project.

The client knows more web pages are needed to be built out, e.g. Additional service pages, etc... Please note, the client already has a web designer, if there are new pages needed, she would build the pages and the client would provide content to her.
