We are looking to hire a team of sales reps in the state of Florida and need legal guidance on the contracts and compliance with IRS regulations. We are posting this job to seek the help of an experienced lawyer who can assist us with the following tasks:
Reviewing and drafting contracts: We need a lawyer to review our standard employment or independent contractor agreements and ensure that they comply with relevant state and federal laws. If necessary, the lawyer can also draft new contracts tailored to our specific needs.
Advising on employee classification: We need to ensure that we classify our sales reps correctly as either employees or independent contractors. A lawyer can advise us on the criteria for each classification and the potential legal and tax implications of each choice.
Ensuring compliance with IRS regulations: We need to comply with various IRS regulations related to payroll taxes, benefits, and reporting. A lawyer can help us navigate these regulations and ensure that we are fulfilling all our legal obligations.
