L10n Engineer in Mexico

Pactera Edge is looking for an experienced L10N Engineer to join our Team in Mexico.

Responsibilities:
Production support:
- Create, authorize, and monitor translation jobs in TMS (Smartling).
- Create delivery PR by using script.
- Onboarding repo in TMS.


- Changing configuration/setting in TMS.
- Providing Bug Fix support.

Technical support:
- Troubleshoot production issues by analyzing issues, narrowing down root cause, and providing the best solution possible.
- Understanding different Content Repositories (GitHub, Contentful, Salesforce, Ecat (internal tool), okm, ibm watson) to provide appropriate support.
- Identify bottleneck, gaps, and problematic areas in L10N processes and tools.


- Propose and/or build technical solutions to improve overall timeline and quality in L10N processes and tools.
- Provide solutions to maintaining Language Assets (tm, am, td, mt).

Visual context and validation support:
- Using test case suite and automation to generate visual context or screenshots.
- Setting up stages/build by working closely with Product teams.
- Navigating flows with high understanding of PayPal Products.



Requirements:
Must have:
- Fluency/Excellence in English language.
- Full understanding on how L10N and TMS work.
- Knowledge about GitHub, JIRA, Slack, Postman.


- Knowledge about QA, test cases, automation, staging, build.
- Knowledge about i18n, localizability, and code/contents relationship including DPH.
- Good communication skills.


- Quick learner, passionate about L10N, works well in a team setting.

Nice to have:
- Scripting, API
- Smartling specific knowledge
- Experience working with Content and Product development Teams

Employment: Full-time
Location: Mexico (Remote)
Schedule: Mexico time (But 6 hours of work must be in PST time zone)
