Logo design

We are looking for a logo for our company, World Farm Pte Ltd, a wholesale garden centre and plant nursery in Singapore.

The company has been operating for over 40 years focusing on wholesale trade. As we are now serving retail consumers as well, we want to have a logo in order to have a focal point around which we can create branding.

The company has a sister company, Hua Hng Trading, and is currently identified by Hua Hng's logo instead. We wish to give World Farm its own logo that is based on its name. You can visit huahng.com.sg to see the logo.



Possible ideas would be either one of these:
- A simple typography type logo
- Using the colours of Hua Hng's logo to create a link
- Incorporating part of Hua Hng's logo into World Farm's new logo

Note:
- Values we wish to communicate via the logo are honesty, value for money, down to earth, integrity
- Hua Hng's logo is designed from 2 chinese characters that carry heavy meanings for the bosses, please exercise nuance if using that logo
- Less is more, we are looking for something simple but clever
- We have a few more design projects in the pipeline including a new line of products under a new brand. As such, we are seeking a designer who understands the essence of our company to work with on an on-going basis
