Brand Name : Budak Bedok
Creative Direction for Line:  Fusionwear, very Carolina Herrera and Ula Johnson 2020 collections, mix of prints and solid colors, mostly feminine dresses in the $300 range.
Logo Direction: clean stylish font. Must give sense of opulence. Pink and gold would be nice

Brand nspiration: Bedok is an estate in the East of Singapore.
I lived there the bulk of my life, and had really great childhood memories. In Malay street slang, the brand name translates to Resident of Bedok.
I wanted to blend my Malay heritage, with inspiration from growing up: listening to reggaeton, also Japanese rock, friends were a mix of Chinese Indian and Malay, was in the school military band etc.
