Optimizar tiempo de busqueda de plugin "Searchautocomplete"

Estoy trabajando con este plugin:
https://es.wordpress.org/plugins/search-autocomplete/

Y tengo el problema que al realizar una búsqueda de producto desde el menu principal el resultado demora más de 8 segundo en aparecer.

Necesito solucionar esto para que la búsqueda sugerida se muestre ni bien uno va tipeando.

Para poder ver lo que les digo pueden intentar buscar  "Batt" para que les sugiera el Battlefield 4 que es el único juego que tiene cargado actualmente.

Quedo a la espera de sus propuestas.
