Em meu painel de controle web, trabalha da seguinte maneira:
Uma categoria de alimentos é criada
Em seguida, um item é cadastrado nesta categoria já criada.

O bug está na listagem das categorias:
A criação da categoria ocorre normalmente, inclusive, fica em sua lista de "Categoria cadastradas"
Na categoria de "Cadastro de item", onde é escolhido em qual categoria vai ser lançada aquele item. Aparece uma lista em branco das categorias criadas, impossibilitando a finalização do cadastro. (No anexo contem a imagem das duas etapas)
