Who We Are: Statik Creative is a premium media agency based in Los Angeles, specializing in delivering high-quality content for top artists and brands. We pride ourselves on our creative output and efficient workflows.
The Work: We are seeking a skilled video editor to handle two primary types of content.
1. Long-form podcast edits: These projects involve multi-camera footage, requiring meticulous audio cleanup, and the integration of light graphics.
2. Vertical shorts (9:16 aspect ratio): These are hook-driven, fast-paced edits designed for social media platforms, demanding sharp pacing and engaging storytelling.
Expectations: We value professionalism and efficiency. Successful candidates will be expected to deliver highly organized .prproj files. Maintain a turnaround time of 24 hours for vertical shorts and 48-72 hours for long-form podcasts. Communicate directly and clearly in English via Slack. Operate effectively with minimal micromanagement, taking ownership of your tasks.
Compensation: Payment will be made in USD exclusively through Wise.
Application Process: To ensure a mutual fit, our process includes a paid micro-test. This involves editing a 3-minute raw clip into a 30-60 second vertical short, with a 24-hour turnaround. You will be required to submit the project file. This test is compensated with $50, regardless of the outcome.
