Project Title: Full-Time Shopify Developer (ui/ux focus) - 2 month project project description: we are a mission-driven direct-to-consumer (d2c) company dedicated to providing sustainable and high-quality daily-use products. As we continue to grow and expand our digital presence, we are seeking a talented and experienced Developer to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in building, customizing, and maintaining our online Shopify store. Position Overview: The ideal candidate will be a Shopify expert with a passion for clean and efficient code, comfortable with both front-end responsive design and back-end integrations. You will collaborate closely with designers, marketing, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, user-friendly e-commerce experiences that align with our brand values and customer needs. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement Shopify e-commerce solutions, enabling dynamic and customizable storefronts. Apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive interfaces and improve overall user experience. Build responsive front-end interfaces, ensuring performance, accessibility, and adherence to brand guidelines. Conduct regular audits of the Shopify store to identify and address ux/ui issues, enhancing conversion rates. Integrate APIs and manage data flow between front-end and back-end systems to ensure a seamless user experience. Develop back-end services, leveraging relevant technologies to support custom functionalities and integrations. Customize and enhance Shopify’s capabilities beyond traditional setups, focusing on customer and stakeholder needs. Utilize Shopify’s Storefront API to create tailored shopping experiences and integrate third-party applications. Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness, ensuring high-quality performance across devices. Monitor and troubleshoot site performance issues, implementing fixes as needed. Collaborate closely with ui/ux designers to ensure the implementation of visually appealing and user-friendly designs. Work with marketing teams and other cross-functional stakeholders to create cohesive e-commerce strategies. Proactively communicate status updates and actively participate in meetings to provide feedback on development projects and issue resolution. Participate in agile development processes, providing insights during sprint planning and retrospectives. Stay up to date with the latest trends in headless commerce, e-commerce technologies, and best practices in web development. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong focus on Shopify development. Proficiency and solid understanding of Shopify and its ecosystem. Strong front-end skills with html, css, and javascript, along with experience in responsive design and ui/ux principles. Familiarity with back-end technologies and database management. Experience with version control systems and agile development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Knowledge of modern frameworks and state management libraries is a plus.
