Surface Pattern Designer for Premium Newborn Brand: Uruguayan Wildlife Theme

We are a premium newborn gift brand based in Uruguay, specializing in bamboo swaddle blankets, seeking a talented surface pattern designer. The project involves creating one original surface pattern design for printing on bamboo muslin fabric and other clothing items. We require a unique design featuring native Uruguayan animals such as carpincho, tero, and mulita, illustrated in a soft, editorial style to convey a strong and deliberate Uruguayan identity. The ideal candidate will work within a specified color palette including dusty rose, dark slate blue, beige, cream, chocolate, with other colors for minor details. The project needs to be completed within a maximum of one week. The process will involve an initial stage of 2-3 sketches per pattern for review, followed by corrections on the proposed patterns, and finally, the delivery of the complete pattern with up to 2 revision rounds included. Deliverables must be in vector format (ai or eps) and transparent png at a minimum of 300 dpi. Each pattern must be a seamless repeat, ready for industrial printing on muslin, with a minimum tile size of 30x30cm at 300 DPI. Additionally, each main motif should be delivered separately (without repeat) for use in other brand materials. A fabric mockup preview showing the pattern on muslin is also required. All files must be organized in folders by pattern with a clear naming convention. Please note that generic stock image designs or AI-generated patterns are not accepted. We are not looking for cartoon or overly childish illustrations, and imitations of existing brands are strictly prohibited.
