Front-End Developer for Short-term Web Portal Project, Potential for On-going

We are looking for a front-end developer to develop, maintain, and update the portal that our users will engage with. This will start out as a short-term project requiring a high level of effort, and eventually, ease into an on-going engagement until the next version of the portal is ready for build.

Description:

Improve and complete end-user web portal that hosts API documentation and developer guides.

Requirements:
1. Make updates to the website based on spec documents from the product team
2. Includes building out authentication and credentialing, and user account management, possibly incorporating the ability to authenticate/login with a Google account
3.
Update design and layout using a Bootstrap UI that we provide
4. Convert GDocs and MS Word Docs to Markdown and upload to a CMS (to be determined)
5. Configure Swagger api documentation on the portal with appropriate ui/ux and css updates to conform to site design
6.
Site maintenance and updating as necessary

Skills:
1. JavaScript & CSS are essential, bring your own toolkit
2. CMS like SkyCMS, Pico, etc.
Wordpress can also be considered
3. Markdown, and the ability to improve our developer guides
4. Familiarity with GCP highly desirable

Relevant Experience:
1.
End-user web portal design, layout and build
2. Experience with API documentation (Swagger)
3. Designing and building CMS documentation site
4.
Work with enterprise or b2b APIs
