We are a management company that operates natural resources like timber and mining. The initial process involve application of land or concession or permits from various authorities. The approval process usually take some time and involve various government departments.

As management, we wish to 1) track the progress of these application; 2) benchmark them against the usual timeline; 3) have our runner or staff  'check in' to the department as follow up; 4) obtain a summary report of the status of various cases; 5) document the next steps to be taken, by whom and when.
