Looking for a remote bookkeeper who is fluent in AI and automation tools, so this work gets automated instead of done manually. Fully remote and digital.
Scope:
- Process and categorize receipts in Dext and fix anything it reads wrong
- Match receipts to the right fiscal period using bank and credit card statements
- Fill missing receipts using app exports and email receipts (Alipay, WeChat Pay, Grab, Uber, Lyft) and keep a gap log
- Tag who paid for each expense (business account or owner's personal card) and build a reimbursement summary
- Reconcile the business bank account transaction by transaction and flag duplicates
- Convert foreign currency expenses to home currency, keeping original amounts in notes
- Track sales tax on receipts for tax credits
- Clean up the accounting inbox and set up automatic receipt forwarding
- Prepare a clean package for the accountant with a short cover note
- Set up next year's categories, rules, folders, and a monthly close routine
- Organize prior years into one consistent Google Drive structure and recommend a secure backup
- Suggest process improvements and automations
