We are seeking an experienced freelancer or team to design and fabricate a robust welded aluminum enclosure. This custom box is intended to protect a satellite antenna mounted on the roof of a bus. The design must meet several critical performance criteria:
1. Structural Integrity: The enclosure must be engineered to withstand continuous exposure to high wind speeds, specifically up to 120 km/h, without compromising its structural integrity or the antenna's stability.
2. Thermal Management: The internal temperature within the enclosure must be maintained below 50 degrees Celsius to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the satellite antenna. This will require careful consideration of ventilation, insulation, or other passive/active cooling solutions.
3. Security: A primary objective is to prevent theft of the satellite antenna. The design must incorporate robust anti-robbery features, including secure locking mechanisms and tamper-resistant construction.
4. Material: The enclosure must be constructed from welded aluminum, ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and appropriate weight for vehicle mounting.
5. Covered with white polycarbonate.
The project encompasses the full cycle from detailed design and engineering drawings to material procurement, fabrication, and quality assurance. We require a solution that is both highly functional and aesthetically suitable for a commercial vehicle.
