We are seeking a skilled freelancer to develop a Smart Waste Sorting System. The core idea is to create an intelligent dustbin capable of automatically sorting trash into different compartments based on material type. This innovative system aims to significantly reduce pollution and enhance recycling efforts.
How it Works:
1. A small camera will capture an image of the waste item as it is thrown.
2. A compact machine-learning model (e.g., Utilizing TensorFlow Lite) will process the image to identify the type of waste (plastic, paper, metal, or organic).
3. A microcontroller (such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi) will control a mechanical platform or flap to direct the item into the correct internal compartment.
4. A mobile application or a dedicated display unit will provide real-time updates on the amount of waste collected for each category.
